TIME PASSES
I can hardly believe it has been 21 months since the last time I held you. I have made a lot of changes. Chris is now my housemate..the laundry is in the ensuite bathroom..the room back of the bedroom is a counselling room and a counselling room and staff room is in process down stairs...
I will never stop missing you, or being with you. Saw 2 films at the Queer film fest... lots of memories..I love you as much as ever and have dedicated the rest of my life to what we created together, Dragonstone and our family.
love always xxxx

Joyous Reunion
Determined and extremely focused at one moment, she would burst into boundless joy. The laughter would ring through the room and all of us together would join in the joyous reunion of love and wonder. She was a warrior for so many, a deep friend to us. As we feel her presence now as a spiritual ally, she rests in our heart, in the wind, and as a pillar of strength of the work we are doing. She always believed in me and what I wanted to accomplish. I am counting on her support now from the other side, to help with the realization of love in the hearts of all.

MY COUSIN
We almost missed the chance of getting to know one another. So glad we connected years ago and have shared stories and laughter.

HEADING HOME
Driving yesterday with Christine, we passed the community centre where I went 2 or 3 times a few years ago to pick up Robin from her Alzheimer's group to spend some time with her before bringing her safe home. We had fun those times! But Christine and I laughed as I recounted that twice I showed up in plenty of time for the end of the group, to be told that Robin had had enough, and left early. Yikes!! I drove after her, not knowing what route she was used to taking, and found her determinedly heading home, very clear on her course of action and her route. (Christine and I agreed, yup, that was Robin!!) -- when I caught up to her, she was very surprised, and fortunately happy, at the diversion. And I'm left now with the image of that clarity and determination which overrode everything for so long even close to the end... And her delighted smile of loving greeting.

Singing with the birds
I remember being in the garden with Robin and hearing her hum in an unusual way. I asked her what song it was and she replied that she was singing to the birds! As I listened, I knew it was true. I told her I thought that it was wonderful and she replied "Well my name is Robin!"

Our privilege to have known Robin
It was an enormous pleasure and a great deal of fun to have got to know Robin over a nearly two year period. We so admired Robin’s humour, her choice to always see the funny side in everything, her intellect and plain old grit.
Robin’s enjoyment of singing together with her lovely singing voice always inspired us to sing a little better! We have been left with a plethora of happy and funny indelible memories of a wonderful and unique women whom we had the privilege of knowing.
We will never forget Robin who truly left a footprint on our hearts.

Robin
I didn't know Robin well, and only in the last few years of her life, meeting her at the Nancy Shipley-Rubin workshops. What always struck me about her were her amazingly penetrating, sparkling and very mischievous eyes, as well as her palpably deep intelligence. We never spoke much, but she was always a delight to be around, with her quiet knowing and hunger to expand herself.

What an Amazing Gem Was Our Robin
Karen Rivest, Christine Waymark, Robin was a unique combination of compassion, humour and wisdom. Her eyes were bright and full of mischievous delight. We were having lunch one day, talking about our history and Robin quietly began to sing Brigadoon. It was so softly beautiful. That was Robin. Kind and soft and beautiful. She was a gem and will be greatly missed. Thank you for your kindness to me Robin it meant so much.

RADIANT ROBIN
I got to know Robin and Christine through Quirke. When we met about 7 years ago, Robin was healthy, well, and radiant! Her smile could light up a whole room! I so enjoyed seeing Christine and Robin together, and admired their love and devotion to each other. We shared many laughs. enjoyed small groups and projects, and I learned how much Robin valued Christine and their whole extended family, and the profession they shared.
Our Quirke days together bring back a flood of images of happy times together, writing, creating art, telling stories, sharing snippets of our lives, and deepening our connections. Robin's radiant smile lives on in our hearts, as we remember her bright eyes and glorious grin and the joy she brought to all of us when she was healthy and well.
With gratitude for the gift of Robin.

WEDDING ALBUMS
When I was working on the video, I asked for some wedding photos. Robin & Christine invited me over and we went through their albums together. When I think of Robin's smile, I'll think of her sparkle that joyful afternoon when they told me stories of their wedding day.
